Usk Together For The Climate
Bringing Usk together to respond to the climate and nature emergencies.
Our Next Meetings:
We have a friendly planning group meeting every third Thursday of the month at Sessions House, NP15 1AD.
All Welcome.
We also have a Climate Cafe, hosted by the Usk Hub, every Thurs 12-2pm. This is a warm space for people to drop in and talk about the planet and climate change; to explore what can be done at an individual and community level; to pick up tips and ideas; and to find out what's already happening.
Climate Cafe
Drop in, connect to others and talk about climate and environmental issues. Every Thursday 12-2pm at Usk Hub.
About us
Usk Together for the Climate formally constituted as an association in December 2022, but we had our first community gathering in May 2022 bringing together 60+ people from the local area.
We are a network of residents working to take local action and respond to the climate and nature emergencies by:
Raising awareness and knowledge
Taking practical steps
Developing local projects
Working with organisations
Creating a supportive community
We have a core group of about 30 people, and we are in the process of building our membership.
