Global/local challenges and solutions - 60-minute talk with Q&A afterwards.
Learn more about 'degrowth' a great idea that proposes moving away from a culture of endless growth towards people’s wellness and sustainability. Sam will explore this groundbreaking model that seeks to meet everyone's basic needs whilst staying within the Earth's survival, creating a 'safe and just' space for humanity.
Plenty of time for questions and chat during and after the talk.
Saturday October 11th 10am Upstairs at the Memorial Hall, Usk
Climate Connectivity Workshop - 3 hours with breaks – age 16 plus – limited spaces.
Sam will use this time to guide participants through an interactive coming together that reveals the interconnected web of climate change and its causes and effects by using the Climate Fresk workshop – please see link Climate Fresk (world) - https://climatefresk.org/world/
Cost: £5 donation per session if you can - all proceeds go to climate action charities
